About me? Where do I begin?I am a child of God. I will admit it is very hard to get a complete picture of who a person is in a profile. You have to talk to me to get to know the real me. You might get a "snippet" of who I am and what I am all about by reading a profile. It is best to talk to me first and find out who I am, rather than look at a profile and make a decision. I am sure one would not go car shopping that way. I am a firm believer that people grow on you. I think you need to get to know and person and see if that person fits you or not. I am much more of a people person. My life is an open book. I am a widower, professional, I am done with my Masters degree. I am taking a small break and then its off to get my Ph D.
I am people oriented person. I am usually the dependable friend that someone calls when their car breaks down or you need help moving. I am good with my hands and mechanically inclined. I am always fixing something, building something or doing some sort of project like installing wood floors, painting, etc. I enjoy helping people. I am a firm believer in what goes around comes around. I love the arts. I am a musician myself. I have a small home studio at home. I play guitar, drums and sing. Yes, I have played in a band before but left due to creative differences. I love art, the theater (I was a band and theater nerd in high school after my jock days were over blowing my knee out playing football.)About my match? Hmm.. good question. I am looking for someone confident in herself, caring, kind and loving. I am looking for someone who is comfortable in an evening dress to shorts and flip flops. I would like to find someone who appreciates the little things, flowers, love notes.. calls for no reason.
What I am looking for
I would like to find someone who enjoys going out but likes quiet evenings at home. It would be nice to find someone to go out and enjoy the arts, go listen to a band, check out some cool art or perhaps go see a theater show. Someone who is comfortable from going out to dinner to late night trips to the grocery store to get late night munchies, or perhaps to go rent a movie and make dinner at home. (Yes. I DO cook and cook from scratch so I can whip up something good.)
